The young star gave birth to daughter Kaya Klitschko on Tuesday, December 9. Kaya is 20 inches long and 7 lbs., 14 oz. — a far cry from her heavyweight boxing champion of a dad, Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko and Panettiere have been engaged since October.
Panettiere, who'd found out about the gender of her baby beforehand, was psyched to have a girl. She told Hello magazine, "I'm so ready to hold my baby girl — I'm going to be a very hands-on mom. I'm thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too."
