The Internet is thirsty for meme-able moments these days. One-off photos of a celebrity walking or looking sad on a bench can enter web infamy for a lifetime if they catch on. For the past few years, the most popular Internet moments have been elevated even further into the upper echelons with the help of the annual HallowMEME party.
This year for the first time, HallowMEME went bicoastal. Two parties were held last night in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, and Internet denizens did not disappoint. Were there official winners? Yes, of course there were. HallowMEME is nothing but a creativity contest, and here's how it shook out:

First place went to Lauren Thompson, who went as "Media Criticism of Renée Zellweger's New Face."
Ryan Broderick, who dressed as "Every Man on the Internet," came in second.
Gem Stone took third place as "But That's None of My Business."
Really, though, when you click through these photos from HallowMEME 2014, you'll see that everyone's a winner. Ahead, take a stroll through the year in Internet virality. Such meme. Much wow. No doge.
