That's the only image stuck in our heads after Amy Poehler's awesome 90-minute interview with Howard Stern Monday morning. The actress visited his Sirius studio to promote her new book Yes Please, when talk turned to her dating experiences following her divorce from actor Will Arnett.
"It was new and weird. I hadn't dated when there was texting. I got married in 2003 and all of a sudden I'm like, Oh, right now you text somebody. That was new," she told Stern. "There were times when I was out with guys and I was like, Oh, I think I might be on a date, but I don't know." When Stern pressed for more details, Poeher revealed that the man in question was none other than John Stamos, who asked her out after they met on the set of her movie They Came Together.

"I was at a restaurant. We were having dinner and I was like, Oh, maybe this is a date! But, I didn't know," a bashful Poehler recalled. "I remember thinking like, Oh, shit. Like, if this is really a date… I think I was wearing a Leslie Knope top. I think I was wearing a shirt from work."
And, if you're hoping that their rendezvous ended between the sheets, we have some bad news.
"Are you disappointed that you didn't —" Stern began. "That I didn't fuck John Stamos?" Poehler interjected. "I think everything ended up the way it was supposed to end up," she said. The 43-year-old Parks and Recreation star was likely referring to her current relationship with fellow comedian Nick Kroll, who she couldn't help but gush about during the interview. According to Poehler, her sex life is healthier than it's ever been. "You enjoy it and you have fun," she said about her life under the covers. "You're open-minded and you feel good about yourself," Poehler added. "There's not a lot of shame or judgment in any of it."
"I didn't know you were such a sexual person," Stern admitted to Poehler.
Her response? "I did."
