Lea Michele Honors Cory Monteith With “You’re Mine”

The more songs that surface from Lea Michele's debut LP, Louder, the more excited we get for its March 4 release. Now, we've gotten our taste of the album's pop-infused, Great White Way vibe with tracks like "Cannonball" and "What Is Love," but Michele's Broadway pipes get their time to shine on "You're Mine," her tribute to Cory Monteith.

"My favorite song is, 100 percent, 'You're Mine,'" Michele told Teen Vogue. "I listened to it the other day — it was the one song I had the most emotional reaction to, just because that's my relationship with Cory." But, before you go thinking it's a piano ballad a la Adele — it's not. It's an uplifting track with soaring vocals and a feather-light beat. There's no trace of wallowing here; rather, it honors her relationship with the late actor in a way that only Michele can do.

This will likely be the last track we'll hear before the album drops, but honestly, we were sold after "Louder" made our feelings feel feelings. (MTV)
