If there is one thing we can get behind, it's seeing more women involved as major players in the New York art scene. And it seems we're not the only ones in favor of a greater female presence in this arena, be it through creation or curation. Beginning October 3, Brooklyn gallery Human NYC will host an all-female group show entitled "Babe Show." Curated by Rachael Yaeger, the exhibit features work from four talented female artists, each approaching art through diverse mediums and ideas. "Babe Show" will be open through October 20, displaying projects from Meryl Smith, Alice Lancaster, Amy Woodside, and Sophie Chang. It's all happening in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at 110 Meserole Avenue.
