We've seen a glimpse of Rupert Grint in CBGB, his first significant film role since his Ron Weasley days, and we are changed. Depending on how far into the treacherous depths of Harry Potter fan-fic you ventured, this might seem tame, but let's just say we need to get clean again before Monday. Because this unsanitized NSFW trailer is extremely raunchy — and also guilty-pleasure weekend viewing.
Grint appears with Justin Bartha, as volatile punk act The Dead Boys that's known for its incendiary live shows. Let's just say things get particularly hot here — and, when a determined female fan with whipped cream on her breasts approaches Bartha on stage, things get even more heady. Our own heads are spinning, and our souls are scarred, but we can't look away.
None of this is actually shocking in context of the real CBGB scene, of course. In fact, the drugs and the sex in this clip are tame compared to more colorful, unpublishable antics that really made the club famous. (We assume the rock drama, opening October 11, will tackle the seedy details with aplomb.) But throw Rupert Grint — forever our favorite ginger-haired, slack-jawed underdog — into the mix (even as a bystander!), and our sanctimonious streak kicks in. What would Hermione think?
