Fashion trailblazers, listen up: The British Fashion Council has just announced the NEWGEN MEN recipients for SS'14, meaning that yes, we are already thinking two seasons ahead. And this year, the group of winners is cooler than ever.
Receiving catwalk sponsorship (a.k.a, the golden ticket to LFW), is Agi & Sam, Astrid Andersen, and Nasir Mazhar, along with seasoned NEWGEN-ers, Lee Roach, Matthew Miller, and Shaun Samson. Elsewhere, Martine Rose is the lucky recipient to snap up presentation sponsorship for the fourth consecutive season.
Initiated in September 2009 as a development from the support network of Topman and Fashion East, NEWGEN MEN provides the ultimate framework for emerging menswear designers. Along with sponsorship, the initiative offers business training and mentoring, nifty industry contacts, and a platform to showcase their collection at London Collections: Men.
