Be still, our beating hearts. Our favourite teenage crush band, Blur, has hinted that they might, just might, record another album. Damon Albarn teased the crowds at Monday’s gig in Hong Kong that while the band were here for the week, they might get up to a little recording. Our fingers are firmly crossed.
Judging by the below YouTube video of the momentous suggestion, we may not be the only ones excited by this possibility. The crowd’s reaction is more than a little enthusiastic, to say the least.
The band haven’t produced an album since 2003 and as much as we love the two songs Blur released for the Hyde Park shows, we think ten years is more than enough time to get the creative juices flowing again for another Parklife. Here’s hoping, anyway.(Louder than war)
