Just when we thought we had seen everything that Fashion Month had to offer us, Marc Jacobs throws us a curve ball. Fresh from his roaring success in New York, he brought the house down in Paris with the appearance of his great chum Kate Moss, on the Louis Vuitton runway.
Not many of us would be able to pull off a '50s wig (a little bit Rizzo?) and see-through, embroidered gown with such nonchalance, while walking down a catwalk decked out like a five-star hotel lobby. But then, not many of us are Kate Moss. More’s the pity.
The supermodel doesn’t make runway appearances often, but perhaps she wanted to show her support for her friend since his contract with Louis Vuitton is up for renewal. Or, as the designer puts it, they’ve had a lot of fabulous times in hotel rooms together, and this is just a celebration of it all. To the comments with your thoughts!
