We at Refinery29 have always fawned over A Détacher’s comfy, loose-fitting basics in luxurious fabrics. And the brand's spring/summer '13 collection was not a far cry from its past collections, which includes simple frocks in bold colors and prints. Once again, designer Mona Kowalska has managed to put out a collection that is both fashion forward and unfussy. That’s why we couldn’t wait to get our hands on backstage photos from yesterday’s show.

After taking in all the amazing pics, one styling detail had us scratching our heads (or rather, chins). Some of the models appear to be wearing...chin straps? Yes, and they're fashioned from the models' own hair. Huh? Business in the front, bird’s nest in the back, bonnet fastening underneath. Ladies, please weigh in: Is this an upcoming trend or just plain weird?
