If the recent Matthew Williamson for H&M hysteria didn't wear you down, oh, and if you're not busy snapping up pieces from the new Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop line, which launched today, then perhaps you'll have the energy to pump yourself up for yet another collab frenzy: Christopher Kane's new Topshop line. Sure, the gorilla-loving designer has already collaborated with the chain back in 2007, but this time around, things will be different. Kane claims that there will be "bags, shoes, knitwear, and dresses," and all of it will be "nothing like any work [he's] done in the past. Everything is a bit 'wow.'" But if he tells us any more, he'll "be giving the theme away"! Oh, we are excited! We hope the line will take on the crazy geometry theme and neon frenzy of his spring '09 show—and that the price tags won't be nearing $300 for a jacket. But then again, one cannot put a price on clothes that promise to be full of "surprises"! Think you'll have the patience to wait 'til August, which is when the line hits stores? (My Fashion Life)
