Vogue China’s Beautiful, Must-See Homage To San Francisco

Even though we live in this gorgeous city, it's always nice to remind ourselves of its beauty from an outsider's perspective. Which is why we're absolutely head over heels with this latest S.F.-centric spread in Vogue China's April 2012 issue.
The star of the layout is none other than S.F. native and R29 fave Lily Kwong. The twenty-something model, Ivy League student, blogger, and cousin to Joseph Altuzarra took the Vogue China team on a tour of the City by the Bay, naturally dressed to the nines the entire time.
She says, "Our team for this shoot was my boyfriend and three good friends, so it felt incredibly special to share my hometown with them," Kwong tells us. "San Francisco is my first love and it really is a magical city. The opening shot was taken on Randall Hill, where we had my senior ditch-day party. We were up to all sorts of mischief back then, so it was surreal to shoot something so chic and beautiful out there. And our whole team stayed at my parent's house. So, the best part of our long shoot days was coming home to my dad's famous home-cooked feasts!"
Awwww. Sounds like a beautiful love affair no matter what how you look at it. Check out the resulting portfolio, shot by Simon Cave, styled by Morgan Pilcher, and with hair and makeup by Tsipporah Liebman, after the jump, and be sure to check out the April 2012 issue of Vogue China, on newsstands now.
