Vice Celebrates Their Porn-Inspired Website With Rick Ross, And Death From Above 1979

Last night Vice ushered in the launch of the newly consolidated Vice.com in typical Vice fashion. This meant throwing an enormous party at the gorgeous Skylight One Hanson, headlined by Rick Ross. The reunited dance metal dudes Death From Above 1979 also played, as well as a slew of other bands. Before the music started we were treated to a presentation during which co-founder Shane Smith described Vice’s new business model (Porn) and their plans to expand content across multiple arenas in the coming year (Fashion, Sports, News, etc). It sort of made us nostalgic for the days when Vice was just that weird magazine you could get at skate shops that showed boobs, but hey, when Shane said “Vice is taking over fucking the world” it was hard not to believe it. Now excuse us while we get back to our hangovers.
