Whether intentional or not, one of the models at the John Galliano runway show was sporting a tiny Star of David on her arm. The clothing itself was full of high-drama '40s silhouettes, with dark, Cupid lips, finger waves, and beaded, luxurious glamour. The song selection was also particular transparent, with Times' reporter Eric Wilson noting that the soundtrack featured “Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep,’ which includes the line ‘We could have had it all,’ and, at the finale, the opening of Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida,’ which begins with ‘I used to rule the world."
