The 20 Resort Looks We Loved The Most

We may not be packing up our Bottega Veneta luggage for a two-week sojourn in Saint-Tropez or Montenegro, but the latest resort 2012 deliveries all make us wish we were. Hell, we'd take a long weekend on Fire Island! Differing time zones withstanding, the best collections inspired faraway lands and exotic escapades with lots of layered prints, contrasts of tweed and silk chiffon, and tons of fiery color. Perhaps to make the whole business of resort more retail-friendly, many of the designers like ADAM, Erdem, Derek Lam, and Preen all turned out mini-collections that seem to practically fuse our dwindling fall and spring seasons together.
