Sneak A Peek At Steven Alan’s New Fillmore Street Digs

We’ve been following Steven Alan’s new Pac Heights location with an eagle eye for weeks now. First, we spotted the subtly shielded window on Fillmore Street and then we nabbed all the juicy must-know deets of the shop (1,750 square feet? Bay Area designers? Yup, that's right!). Now, lo and behold, the moment we’ve all been waiting for: The pictures! That's right, we’re giving you a little afternoon treat in the form of enticing imagery of the sparkling space (Alan's biggest on the West Coast), shot by none other than R29 photographer Molly DeCoudreaux.
After the jump, take a gander at the sprawling spot, with colorful shelves and quirky art pieces that deck the walls and halls. We’ve already scoped out a handful of items that are coming home with us (that is, if they aren’t snatched up first). If you didn’t already have a reason to book it over to the freshly opened Steven Alan, this is further proof that you need to peep it for yourself — stat. But really, the sooner, the better 'cause tomorrow the shop is hosting a can't-miss fete to celebrate the new digs and the latest issue of Dossier. There will be cocktails, coffee by Stumptown, and live tunes. We don't think Wednesday night gets better than this!
When: Wednesday, May 23, 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Steven Alan, 1919 Fillmore Street (between Pine and Bush streets); 415-351-1499.
