We scoff at our holier-than-thou friends who proclaim that Electroclash is dead, six gin and tonics into the night. Clearly they haven't spent enough time following the exploits of the ever changing mix of creative types that make up Chicks
on Speed. Lucky for us the band/creative commune has collaborated with clothing label Insight to create some hyper-colorful, skate and surf inspired outfits. As what weather.com describes as a wintery mix unendingly descends upon us, this is the perfect mental vacation we needed. Ah, we just took a long, relaxed sigh thinking of groovy beach chicks wearing fluorescent bikini tops, wacky graphic shorts and pants, and chic sunglasses. Then we looked out the window and shed a tear.
