Sometimes going for a specific "look" or certain era while decorating your home can dangerously border on seeming forced and contrived. So, we try to ascribe to a more organic school of thought: Buy only what you truly love. Which is why we swooned a bit over lifestyle blogger Shiva Rose's L.A. ranch escape, recently shot by One Kings Lane .

From a miniature teepee in the dining room to a Victorian vanity in the bedroom, it's apparent that Rose has carefully placed her favorite things (mostly from flea markets) around each room. Sure, we may not all live in a sprawling ranch amidst a wooded forest, but we can follow Rose's style cues.
