Shantilly’s story sounds like something out of a fairy tale, if Cinderella was about a self-made woman. Shandi Levy grew up in Miami and had been collecting one-of-a-kind vintage accessories for 15 years when she started fusing pieces together. Her goal: creating a vintage/modern blend of jewelry.
Before she knew it, the whole thing took off and Shantilly was born. Now you can find Shantilly’s pieces in music videos, on the cover of magazines, in the Sex and the City movie, and at a trunk show this Saturday. Yup, Shandi herself will be at GuyandGirl Boutique in the Shelbourne this Saturday for a poolside trunk show that will include a sweet discount, and, if your feeling friendly, a chat with Ms. Levy, a woman who makes Cinderella look like a sad pretty girl with a cute pair of slippers.
