Even though food and beauty are two of our favorite things, we don't necessarily need or want them to intersect on a regular basis. So, despite what we've heard about storing products in the fridge to prolong their efficacy, we've long shied away from mixing our makeup and our milk.

But, that was until we caught wind of this juicy tidbit in an article from The Huffington Post: Since green products lack the heavy-duty preservatives found in traditional cosmetics, cold temps could make a serious difference in keeping natural formulas balanced and effective.
