We're not sure when redheads got a bad wrap, but somewhere along the way to modern times they did. Don't believe us? Ever heard the phrase "red-headed stepchild"? Yeah, we thought so. Well we've always had a secret fondness for "gingies" and it seems that the fashion world is finally giving a wink and a nod to these red-maned minorities. Why, our very own British firecracker Lily Cole was named "Coolest Person Under 30" by UK magazine Company. Model, and now newcomer to the blogosphere, Coco got herself all sorts of auburn for the unveiling of her mannequin. Karen Elsen has been on the move for as long as we can remember acting as muse to both Steven Meisel and Papa Karl. Even Lydia Hearst had a crimson moment earlier this year. From blood red to strawberry blonde, with all these fashion vixens experimenting with the ruby-hued side of things, we're starting to doubt that blondes are the ones having more fun.
