The Underground Market Kickstarter Fundraiser
Nosh for a cause with The Underground Market and help artisans turn their food-business dreams into a reality. We gave you the lowdown on the Forage Kitchen Kickstarter Campaign and this fare-centric fundraiser is the final push forward! The tasty event features goodies from local favorites like Rice Paper Scissors and Homeroom. Oh, and did we mention the date auction? Yes, you heard right — at 8 p.m. sharp — local chefs will auction themselves off for a date. Hot chefs for sale? Yum. Tickets are $10 at the door, VIP tickets are $20 (available on Scoutmob), and all food items are $5 or less. Those who have pledged $35 or more at Kickstarter get in free. All proceeds go to the Forage Kitchen Kickstarter campaign, which ends that very night, so bring your appetite and a positive ‘tude along with you.

13th Annual San Francisco Oysterfest
If oysters are your world, then the world is your oyster at this local food event! Featuring a range of Pacific Coast oysters, cooking demos, live music, and booze, the 13th annual San Francisco Oysterfest is a serious can’t-miss. Oysters not your thing? Don’t fret, there will be plenty of alternative eats from some of S.F.’s finest restos, along with live music from Young the Giant, Manchester Orchestra, and more. And for all you mother-shuckers out there, you’ll get to show those slippery little suckers who’s boss at the shucking competition.
