One Weekend Must-Do: Fish Bar

With the success of M.K. and D.M.K. Burger Bar, it was inevitable that Michael Kornick and David Morton's latest venture, Fish Bar, would be a huge hit. Having just three tables and some bar space, this casual Lakeview hotspot boasts a fun atmosphere (who needs napkins when you can get serious with paper towels?), and high-quality ingredients. Because they keep their ingredients as fresh as possible, the menu isn't always the same, although they serve consistent staples like the lobster roll and rock shrimp, oysters, ceviche carpaccio, and the always-changing catch-of-the-day items. So, if you love seafood, this will definitely be your new go-to.
Fish Bar, 2956 North Sheffield Avenue (between Oakdale Ave & Wellington Ave); 773-687-8177.

Inside info:
Reservations: There are three tables that are available to reserve. Otherwise, you just sit at the bar and eat...but really, who's complaining?
Dress: Casual. (leave the Louboutins at home, mkay?)
Order: Ceviche, grilled calamari, lobster roll, garlic bread--trust us.
Drink: Blanche de Bruxelles Witbier. Say that five times fast.
