Plaids Please! We’re Loving These Affordable Works Of Art

We told you about Not A Gallery.com back in July, and our crush still hasn't faded. If anything, it might be turning into l-o-v-e with their newest series of affordable art—Plaids Please! And, lest you're getting visions of Issey Miyake, these UltraChrome prints with hand-painted acrylic gloss are pure Americana—think vintage, lumberjack flannels, preppy madras, and colors a peacock would be proud to call his own. Not A Gallery.com's Creative Director, Justin Belmont, conceived the idea when he spotted his brother's old, worn plaid shirts at the bottom of a closet; Inspired, he then scavenged patterns from thrift stores and friends to inject a pack of pop punch into tried-and-true iconography. The result is art that's not too pricey ($249-699) but not generic—each piece is a limited-edition of 125—that will update any room the second it hits the wall.
If you want to scope out the art in person, visit Not A Gallery.com's pop-up location, or visit Tenet, where Belmont's art is currently on display.
