I'm a college student, so yes I may responsibly enjoy an alcoholic beverage here and there, but I confess, above all, I'm an avid tea drinker. I have over 20 different varieties of loose tea at home, and my collection is only increasing. I usually like to visit teahouses to try a pot before I commit to a purchase, which is where Alice’s Tea Cup comes in. After a day of classes on the Upper East Side, I love nothing more than walking to Alice’s and enjoying a cup of tea with some pastries.

I first discovered this little piece of heaven when I moved to NYC. The shop is Alice in Wonderland themed, with the cutest tableware and interiors. I usually go for black teas or ones with rose or bergamot, but Anna’s Earl Grey is my favorite.

For my afternoon with Alice, I wore a tiger face sweater and schoolgirl-y skirt. Underneath, a cat face T-shirt in honor of the Cheshire cat (the waitress gave me a thumbs up for it.), and I added a hat to complete the look. You can't go to tea without a hat now, can you?
