Norway's Mr Little Jeans is no Mr at all. Monica Birkenes has been dropping Scandinavian gems in the vein of Annie, Robyn, and Lykke Li for some time, and the new video for "Oh Sailor," sees Birkenes at her crystalline pop best. Set amongst mountainous green screen landscapes, tropical foliage, and glittering stars, the video follows Mr Little Jeans through a fantasy land reminiscent of an abandoned movie set. All the while Birkenes' voice is bolstered by a beautiful orchestrated children's choir, which heightens the video's sense of whimsy. "If you feel like you're out there on your own / There's someone watching over you," they reassure each other. Check out the premiere below:
