Launched in 2012, Lover.ly aims to make the folder of dog-eared magazine clippings a thing of the past for newlyweds-to-be. The digital wedding channel, which makes the planning process more simple, is bringing everything from charming real weddings to expert advice on all things matrimony right to R29. This couple met their freshman year of college. The way they described their first impressions? His: “Emily was energy in the room.” Hers: “Hey there, good lookin’, but no thanks.” After a first-date mishap (he planned a sweet outing to look at Christmas lights; she greeted him wearing sweatpants and no makeup), their relationship grew and Riley proposed. The couple was wed in Texas, and had their reception in an old cotton mill. We love the brick backdrop, the bridesmaids dresses, the simple and elegant cake, and the crazy amount of joy and love Emily and Riley experienced on their big day.
