First Look: Marvel At Machine Coffee And Deli’s Tasty New Space

In a city like S.F., every other day births a new eatery. But, we’ll be honest, it takes a head-turning menu (along with smashing interiors and service!) to keep us — and our appetites — intrigued. Luckily, the latest grub-tastic venture from the folks behind Foreign Cinema and Show Dogs pulls out all the savory stops. Machine Coffee and Deli is a freshly opened little haunt that is inspired by metal and as the name suggests … machinery.
It is situated in S.F.’s mid-market ‘hood and features a multitude of mouth-watering, house-cured meat sammies, freshly brewed Four Barrel coffee, and sticky buns (from Foreign Cinema’s famed brunch). The wood- and metal-lined hut-like spot serves its delectable items with a side of foot-tapping songs every day (the baristas also know a thing or two about the S.F. DJ scene). Take a peek inside and preview what’s on the menu before high-tailing it to Market Street to taste the goodies in person. Nom!
Machine Coffee And Deli, 1024 Market Street (between 6th and 7th streets); 415-913-7370.
