Whether you live in La La Land or you've flown in for a weekend, there are a few requisite locales everybody frequents: Runyon Canyon, Sunset Strip, Silver Lake, etc., etc. But, away from the common grounds, you'll find some gems that proffer a respite from the traffic and the tourists: Welcome to West L.A.
The area is a waterfront haven that just begs for breezy frocks, relaxed denim, and a generous dose of serenity. So, on our most recent trip to the coast, we tagged along with L.A. native and style blogger Mara Ferreira of M Loves M for a local's download. And, truly, who better to show us the ropes? Ferreira's blog began as an online journal between her then boyfriend (and now husband) Matthew and herself (hence the name), but has since become a font of inspo for laid-back L.A. living.
