This Bride's Dress Was Handmade — By Her Mom

This civil ceremony from Love My Dress is the epitome of eco-chic, maritime cool. The lovely couple chose to get married in the heart of London Docklands, complete with sweeping views of the Thames. They were inspired by all things green, and found some striking ways to bring the outdoors in with an herb-planting station (those were the favors!) and a litany of other botanical elements they scattered throughout their riverside warehouse venue. They even arranged for a boat to take the wedding party from the ceremony to the reception site — now THAT'S how you make an entrance your guests will never forget!

The bride and groom also worked in some vintage vibes with original handmade details. The bride’s mom made her a gorgeous gown and an equally stunning headpiece (which she fashioned from some applique lace and an old pearl necklace). And, another crafty relative created the wooden canopy that served as the ceremony's backdrop. Check out at all the ethereal elements from this magical matrimony in the slideshow ahead!
