This Lookbook Was Shot In An Abandoned Religious Theme Park

Oddly enough, sometimes the carefree, just-threw-this-on look is the hardest one to master because, of course, a lot of thought usually goes into those kinds of outfits. But for those of you who were (or always wanted to be) that badass chick who wore whatever she wanted, cut class, and got caught making out in the boys' room, Lindsey Thornburg's collab with boutique Reformation are the clothes you've been looking for. The lookbook, titled "Holy Land," was shot by photographer Olivia Malone in an abandoned religious theme park, which gives the perfect creepy-cool backdrop to the designer's eclectic clothes. Mixing plaid, lace, risqué cutouts, and her signature cloaks, Thornburg's looks are a perfect blend of punk and vintage, masculine and feminine, effortless and and elegant. The badass collection consists of 10 different pieces ranging from dresses to T-shirts, all made from reclaimed material (created in Chinatown not China) and all under $500. Holy sweet, right? You can snag the clothes at their L.E.S. shop now, and, in the meantime, click through to check out their slightly sacrilegious lookbook that might just give you the chills.
Reformation, 143 Ludlow Street #1 (between Orchard and Essex streets); 646-448-4925.
