Knee-high In Fashion: Popupshop Caters to the Pint-Sized and Fashion Forward

Too cool for school? Quite literally. Popupshop is the sharp, stylish, and eco-friendly response to the—yes, we dare say—infantilizing childrenswear market. You shan't find a cartoon or primary color palette in sight. With bare-bone but highly conceptual design silhouettes that bring to mind Helmut Lang and Y-3, the line has generated effortless cool for the toddler set. Displeased with the offerings available for their children, Danish couple Marie-Louise Mogenson and Luca Romagnoli collaborated with close friend Sigrid Astrup to design clothes that were easy, stylish, and affordable for their offspring. They delivered in bundles. Check out the sweatshirt harem pant-suit, the graphic tees, and high-waisted shorts: These are pieces any full-sized adult would covet. Speaking of which, Popupshop is working on a basic t-shirt and underwear line for women—lest, we've forgotten how to share.
