Garance Doré Brings One Of Fashion’s Biggest Luxury Brands Down To Earth

Kering, formerly known as PPR, is one of fashion's biggest luxury groups, owning powerhouses such as Gucci, Stella McCartney, and Yves Saint Laurent. The company is worth $22 billion and is led by Francois-Henri Pinault, famed rich guy whose name will elicit gasps, but whose face you probably wouldn't recognize even if it asked you for directions on the street.
The problem with luxury groups like these is that it feels as faceless as the acronyms they're usually named with — but for Kering, deliberately pronounced "caring," Pinault and co. are tackling that problem head face on and making a push to put personalities to that anonymity. In this short film exclusive to Refinery29, Garance Doré was asked by the newly rebranded company to chat with some of the most influential players in the Kering family, from its esteemed CEO to new family member, Christopher Kane.
