Listen Up, Broadway Babes — We’ve Got Just The Thing For You

2
A night at the theater could always use more drama. (That’s what it’s all about, right?) So, the next time you have tickets for a downtown show, consider jazzing up the experience with the JW Marriott’s new “Broadway Bound” package.
Here’s how it works: Say you have tickets to hot show like The Book of Mormon (we’re jealous) or an oldie-but-goodie like The Million Dollar Quartet. And, say you want to make a night of it that goes beyond a little pre-show nibble. That’s when you dial up the downtown hotel and ask about this package, which starts at $279. Okay, so that’s a little steeper than your typical night on the town, but you’ll get quite the bang for your buck.

You’ll start off with the “Teatro Trio” dinner for two. Served at the hotel’s swanky resto, the Florentine, the meal includes hearty Italian bites that’ll keep you satiated 'til curtain call (think gnocchi with a hearty ragu and a meaty plate of coppa di testa). After dinner, an Uber black car will pick you up and take you to the theater; your shiny vehicle will whisk you back to the hotel when the show’s over.
Back at your chandelier-decked home base, you’ll get two “Gold Record” cocktails in the lobby. Inspired by — you guessed it — The Million Dollar Quartet, the drink is a sweet blend of citron vodka, elderflower liqueur, and vermouth. This is a pretty stiff nightcap, so it’s a good thing the package also includes overnight accommodations. Just head up to your plush room, tuck into bed, and give yourself a round of applause: You booked one showstopper of an evening. The deal is a limited-time offer, but you don’t have to act too quickly — it’ll be available through December 31, 2013.
