As if he couldn't be a more perfect hubby, JT gave a super sweet shout-out to Jessica Biel while accepting his award for Favorite Male Artist at the 40th Annual People's Choice Awards (he also nabbed awards for Favorite Album and R&B Artist). After thanking his family, his fans, and his team (for dealing with his neurosis, specifically), the superstar acknowledged his other half.
"I'd like to thank my beautiful wife for teaching me patience and the little things like just putting the dishes in the dishwasher. It goes a long way," the singer said. "Fellas, you're welcome."
The speech seems to have halted earlier rumors that the couple had split, despite Biel's noticeable absence at the event. The actress also missed the American Music Awards in November, causing a total social media frenzy. At the time, the actress responded to the craziness on Twitter, saying, "I'm watching from home tonight. Calm down, Internet." So, we're hoping that JT's recent, aww-inducing words will put the haters to rest. Because seriously, can we maybe, just once, stop seeing the worst in relationships that aren't even our own?
