Jay Nelson Exhibit at Mollusk Surf Shop
We're big fans of local artist Jay Nelson and the dreamy space he shares with his other half Rachel Kaye. Well, now there's more to adore: rad work from his new "West Portal" series. The new sea-inspired artwork is on display at Mollusk Surf Shop's gallery in the Outer Sunset. While there are paintings in the mix, our fave piece is the plywood structure housing the exhibit that was built to look like a cavern with custom lighting, to boot!

With old-timey stills and pipes, they'll be brewing up various plants and oils to craft the fragrance of your dreams!

It may be the name of the space, but clearly we don't need to list 18 reasons to scope out this event. We only need two: chocolate and beer.
