The First Gay “Bachelor” Is…Jesse Ferguson?

Ever wonder what ABC's The Bachelor would look like as a gay marriage competition? Well, Funny or Die's latest spoof will put your speculation to rest.
Starring Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson as the titular role and George Takei as host (with a splendid cameo from Lance Bass), the sketch gives us a glimpse of what might happen when you put 12 hot, single, and ready-to-mingle men in one house.
Ferguson comes into the competition looking for "love and marriage" — but things don't go exactly as planned. Much to his dismay, the other men in the house start courting each other and, well, ignoring him.
Watch the spoof below for a good laugh, and, if you're like us, you'll be not-so-secretly wishing some network picks this up as a Bachelor-meets-Real World-meets-Survivor spin-off.
