It only takes about five minutes with Leandra Medine to understand why the Man Repeller is a blogger darling in the fashion community. Candid, witty, and down-to-earth, this gal has amazing energy and a serious closet. We tracked her down during her hectic Fashion Week schedule and stepped into her shoes for a Sunday dose of New York Fashion Week, Man Repeller-style.
Tell us about your Fashion Week Sunday.
"I woke up slightly hungover from the Alexander Wang after-party, but pulled it together for a fitting at Rebecca Minkoff for their show on Monday, followed by presentations galore, including Cut25 at the Highline Stages. The rest of the day included running back-and-forth between Lincoln Center and home, and trying to squeeze a nap in. Just when the day was meant to start unwinding, it picked up full-force at The Plaza for the Thakoon show, followed by a delicious dinner with Geri Hirsch at Cafe Cluny, and a quick stop at Milk Studios to see Reece Hudson present their bags. This was, of course, all in preparation for the Timo Weiland show at Lincoln Center at 9 p.m., where we capped off a great day!"

Which shoe style are you wearing, and what do you love about it?
"Just when my feet were ready to give out, my Tsubo x Timo Weiland Markov boots saved the day. In my khaki and green lace-up, open-toe booties, I ran around with no problem. I love the color combination and bad-ass silhouette. I will admit, though, the show made me love the shoes even more. I guess that's the power of the models."
What were your favorite moments from the Timo Weiland show?
"At the show, I loved the perfect prints, midi-skirts, midriff-baring bustiers, chic maxis, and, of course, the shoes. I always love a final walk where the collection comes together and the complimenting colors really reveal themselves. The second-to-last cocktail-party-appropriate maxi-dress and bright mini-skirt with matching bustier was the look that really took the cake. It had me chanting the usual...lady boner!"
