We're not done with winter yet, but Oakland producer Glenn Jackson has his sights permanently set on the dog days of summer. "Morning Swim," from an EP of the same name, is an effervescent blend of island-inspired rhythms and buoyant house beats. Reminiscent of the Balearic-leaning Scandinavian music we've seen much of over the last decade (see: Air France, ceo, Ditt Inre), the track marks a nice introduction to Jackson as a solo artist while giving us something to look forward to as we trudge back into the cold. Jackson's three-track solo debut is out now on Brooklyn's Ceremony.
