Get Schooled On Dorm-Room Style Inspired By Real College Students

A dorm room is yours (finally, all yours!) to decorate; whether it be to promote the appeal of an unmade bed or transform into your own study sanctuary, there can be some major hurdles to jump. However, we have sought out the help of the coolest co-eds we know, and rooms they call their own. In order to help make your dorm room a design dream, we’re providing you with weekly inspiration from their personal rooms where they study, chill, and sleep (as long as they're not pulling an all-nighter). Take notes from their homey aesthetics to help inspire your own room.
Isabelle McNally, daughter of the dude behind famously delicious Pastis and Balthazar restaurants in New York City, is a young socialite and aspiring actress whose home was captured by photographer Todd Selby. We love her room because it has the carefree vibe of a young fun soul, meshed with the fabrics and patterns of antique refinery. The decorative touches are subtle and unexpected, overall creating a cool room to covet.
