You Won’t Believe What Some Of These Gorgeous Bags Are Made Of

The Brooklyn duo behind awesome locally made bag brand, Fleabags, know what works: sustainable materials, deadstock vintage fabrics, and on-trend bucket shapes that are perfect for tooling around town.
For spring '12, designers Shira Entis and Alex Bell have reaffirmed their commitment to staying as regional as possible, shooting their newest lookbook at Uhuru, a fellow Brooklyn furniture company that shares Fleabags' vision of sustainably produced goods. Knapsacks, ballet bags, and clutches appear for the first time, but the heritage-ready shapes that we've grown to love are (thankfully) still front and center. We're obsessed with the design and durability promised by every piece, and hey, the size matters, too.
