Hot Off The Runway: Designer Polishes (Wang, Oscar, Betsey, Oh My!)

Coming soon to a store near you are nail polishes custom-designed by your favorite fashion labels. Backstage at Fashion Week this season, a bevy of brands announced forthcoming partnerships with well-known designers to create and sell their own nail polishes.
At Oscar de la Renta, the long-rumored makeup collection from the legendary designer got an unofficial confirmation when models were seen wearing three shades of nail polish — red, robin's egg blue, and aubergine — that were said to be from Oscar's upcoming makeup line, launching this fall. Meanwhile, Sally Hansen continues their relationships with Tracy Reese and Alexander Wang, debuting new fall colors for each at their respective shows. At Peter Som, Zoya debuted a collection of three polishes that went on a sale for a hot second on the Zoya website right after the show. We can only hope they put them back into production because we need the sheer eggplant Katharine shade in our lives.
Hands down, the most fun collaboration we saw all week had to be the one between Betsey Johnson and Sephora. Everyone's favorite runway gymnast is launching an extensive collection of polishes that will be available in March at Sephora. There will be seven full-sized shades, a six-piece mini polish set, three patterns of stick-on polish strips, and three nail design sets. Click through the slideshow to get a sneak peek of the polishes.
