Everyone's thought of swiping those 3D glasses post movie-viewing, but the strange visual distortion you see through the lenses really isn't ever worth the acquisition of a cool new pair of frames. But with 3D technology set to be as ubiquitous as billboards soon, manufacturers are beginning to create glasses that also function as regular sunglasses. A few styles were presented at the Vision Expo West this week, in preparation for the 3D-embedded TVs, laptops, games, and other merchandise that will stores during the holidays.
