Hump-Day Treat: Erica Tanov’s Lookbook Has Us Crushing Hard

Nothing gives us joy quite like stepping into Erica Tanov's lush Fillmore Street and Berkeley shops (or her sick studio for that matter!). We're completely smitten with the boutiques' vintage vignettes, wooden trunks, and old-timey charm that is a perfect blend of rustic and swank — and we're just talking about the decor here, people.
When it comes to her clothes, Tanov's cozy-as-could-be sweaters and simple slip dresses should be the basics of every Bay Area gal's wardrobe. And for spring, Tanov has treated us to her sensible stylings along with a few unexpected add-ons. "Our [lookbook] photos are usually heavily narrated, with the location and props telling a story," says Tanov. "For the spring '12 collection I chose the opposite route, going for the clean, stark backdrop of a studio. This allowed us to highlight the season's bold, bright, and colorful palette."
Wanna see what she means? Take a peek at her latest lookbook and we're positive you'll fall head over heels for the oversized cardigans, linen pants, and colorful frocks. (We sure did!) One thing's for certain, we're adding knee-high socks to every single ensemble this season. What about you?
