Go Inside Kelly Osbourne's Rad (& Chanel-Filled!) Closet

In the decade (yes, really) since The Osbournes debuted on MTV, we've watched Kelly Osbourne conquer everything from film, music and even Dancing with the Stars. We’ve seen her transform from an angsty teenager — how could we forget her punk rock phase? — to an elegant adult with poise, class and a dash of edge. Osbourne’s growth has come with a variable amount of hair changes: pink and edgy, black and spiky, platinum and glam and now — our personal favorite — lavender and luxe.
Lengthy resumé and beauty politics aside, nothing seemed quite as natural as her progression to panelist on E!’s Fashion Police, alongside Joan Rivers and fellow Coveteur, George Kotsiopoulos. We caught up with Osbourne at the super chic Mr. C Hotel in Beverly Hills, and Osbourne greeted us in a enviable Céline tee and Anna Dello Russo for H&M necklace. We got acquainted with her talented stylist, Nicolas Bru, and he jumped right into styling up our suite with pieces from Osbourne's closet.

Among the colorful prints that dominated Osbourne's closet were studded leather jackets and loafers that wouldn't go amiss amongst a crowd at a Black Sabbath show. A particular leather jacket, which once belonged to James Dean (yeah, the James Dean), left us particularly speechless.

"Honestly, if I have it, I don't want to part with it. Clothes come and go. What I keep what I keep is because there's a story that goes along with it. Everything else I give away to charity so someone else can have their own story with it."

"My stylist, Nicolas, stumbled upon a CHANEL pop-up store in an old gas station during Paris Fashion Week last year. André, the street artist, was customizing bags so Nicolas called and woke me up in the middle of the night to ask if I wanted one. Without batting an eye I said yes, hung up the phone, and went back to sleep. It was in my hands upon his arrival the next day."

"As early as I can remember I've lusted after my mother's CHANEL bags. As soon as I could get my hands on one, I had one — and the collecting began!"

"What’s been so great about working with Nicolas is that like any great stylist, he gets that, and as opposed to trying to re-invent my look, he takes what I love to the next level."

"British flag blazers have been a staple of my wardrobe throughout my life and career. This blazer was actually for a Brit-themed shoot I was doing. At the time "Balmain" shoulders were very on trend... and rhinestones are just fabulous. With all of that in mind, the blazer was born!"

"I was on holiday with my family in the south of France with Elton [John], and he caught me staring at these shoes. Unbeknownst to me he bought the whole collection and surprised me with it as we left the store. He is such an incredibly lovely and generous man and a dear, dear friend. I love him."

"My style is me. It’s a reflection of how I feel and think, and I don't dress for anyone else; never have, never will. That’s what truly great personal style is all about."
