Bustin' Out? 3 DD+ Bras For Your Girls

If I had to narrow it down to the most challenging garment, finding a proper bra would definitely be at the top of my list (followed closely by swimwear and jeans). This is especially true if your sizing runs outside of the more-accessible A-to-D cup range offered in stores. And, while it's true that the average bra size is somewhere around a 34DD, there are those of us who have spent our entire lives falling into the "full-busted" range.
For me, I've got a smaller ribcage with a larger cup size, normally somewhere around a 32DDD, and now that I'm pregnant, I'm wearing a 32G! I've come to accept that I'll never be able to just stop by Target for a cute and affordable bra, but, instead, will have to spend an hour in the dressing room, at an expensive department store, trying to find something to harness the girls. So, I searched high and low to find some amazing options for those of us well-endowed women. Finding the right bra helped me feel more comfortable in my skin, and these might do the same for you, too.

The Three-Paneled Bra — I long-avoided these unlined options for fear that they wouldn't be able to support my very full bust. And, while it's true that a simple spandex cup won't do, there are some really beautiful full-cup options constructed with three panels of lace that have become my new go-tos. They magically pull you in at the sides and push you up from the bottom for a very slimming affect — something us busty ladies can certainly appreciate.

The T-Shirt Bra — This is pretty much required if you're wearing a T-shirt (duh) or any thin fabric, like a silky button-up blouse. The trick here is to find a shape that you like. I prefer something that's going to pull me in and slim my silhouette. And, bonus points if the style has an additional layer of internal support along the sides of the body.

The Sexy Bra — Fuction usually trumps fashion when it comes to my bra collection, but it's nice to have some seriously cute options in there, too. Brands like Fantasie, Panache, and Wacoal have plenty of lacy numbers that hold you in place without making you feel like a granny.
