Isabel Marant Gives Us A Master Class In Mixing Prints

After Isabel Marant unveiled her H&M collection last week, we were pretty certain the impossibly chic designer needed a nap. But, no — Marant did not slow down at all. In fact, she's dropped another little present for us in the form of a lookbook from her diffusion line, Isabel Marant Étoile.
The spring '14 delivery offers a daring mix of prints and patterns that come off effortlessly when paired together. Taken out of a grunge context, the plaid that shows up in multiple looks feels fresh and polished. Zigzag and floral designs are also present in the casual collection, topped off with denim overcoats, graphic sweatshirts, and tailored blazers, while shades of blue compose much of the line's color palette, with subtle hints of red and yellow peeking in seamlessly. Overall, the loose silhouettes bring a light and airy vibe to the lookbook, which feels spot-on for spring. Before the styles become available (and subsequently sell out!), preview them, straight ahead.
