S.F. Buzz: A Touch Of Glitter At Elle, Sandro's Outpost, & More!

With another week under our belts, it's time to partake in a little R&R (finally!). But, before you pat those cucumber slices onto your eyes, take a peek at the links that have been making the rounds at R29. Between the inspiring profiles and boutique openings, our reading list is a must. We suggest you apply your mud mask now.
We seriously can't get enough of Glitter Guide's founder, Taylor Sterling. And, it looks like the fine folks at Elle magazine share the sentiment: Sterling will be the glossy's guest blogger for the month of May. Oh, and don't forget to check her out in the print issue, on stands now. (Glitter Guide)
Who's that girl?! Our very own S.F. editor was profiled by 7x7. The site grilled Angela Tafoya about her fave spots to boogie, her Emeryville 'hood, and the age-old question: burritos or burgers? (7x7)
Another reminder that restaurant openings should always be written in pencil, not pen. It turns out Tosca Café (which should've closed for renovations) is still open under the watch of its former manager, because the eatery's new owner, Ken Friedman, can't seem to snag a liquor license in time. Let the waiting game begin continue. (Grub Street)
Fremont Street's about to welcome a new face to the neighborhood. The majority owner of the Sandro, Maje, and Claudie Pierlot fashion chains plans to expand with more outposts, and that includes opening a Sandro in S.F. The brand counts Jessica Alba, Pippa Middleton, and Dree Hemingway as fans which means we'll be stocking up as soon as those doors open. (WWD)
Naturally, The Fillmore nabbed a top spot on Rolling Stone's list of the best music venues in America. But, can you guess the rank? You might be surprised! (Huff Post SF)
