Ravenswood restaurant Pecking Order is bringing back the tradition of Sunday dinner — and let's just say — we're ready to pull up a chair. On April 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., the restaurant will serve the first of its monthly family-style Sunday Suppers, which will allow families and friends to enjoy the cozy comfort of a home-cooked meal without having to lift a finger. And considering that many of chef Kristine Subido’s delectable dishes come from traditional Filipino recipes passed down by her mother, home cooking is truly a specialty at this Uptown favorite.
Chow down on slow-braised chicken and pork adobo with a number of delicious sides for just $24 per person. And be sure to bring the youngsters to this family-friendly bite, because children under 12 eat for half price. So, if you’re as sold as we are, make your reservations, stat.
