Weekend Buzz: Small Spaces, Joe Biden Jokes, & Capitol Hill Style

Passion Pit recently came to town to help celebrate Intermix's new space, and some intrepid local bloggers went along for the ride. Read the dispatch from the party, and check out the insider pics of D.C.'s most fashionable sipping fall cocktails and acting like adoring fans. (Bitches Who Brunch)
Women everywhere have a lot to appreciate in Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx. Now, you can thank her for helping you pull off those bandage dresses — in person! D.C. is getting our very own stand-alone Spanx store, and Blakely will be there in person to cut the ribbon. (Washingtonian)
We've all seen the high-style makeovers that GQ pulled off on Hill fellas, but there are tons of Washingtonians who think that D.C. men were pretty stylish before the mag came to town. Case in point: Even the POTUS himself has stepped up his style game as of late. (Modern Fellows)
The veep showed off a little bit of his comedic chops (who knew?) this week, when he stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman to read the Top Ten List. He listed off the reasons why we should all be voting early, and highlights included phrases like "Single and ready to mingle? Find that special someone in the early voting line." (Washington Post)
